What do you think while on an airplane?
Here is what my friends said:
Oddly enough this collective is a
proportionately good reflection of what goes through my head during
the
flights.
First person:
I hope this plane wasn't built by a disgruntled boeing employee
and the pilot
knows how to fly...
Next person:
When I fly I sleep!
Next person:
What do I think about whilst on an airplane? You took a picture
of one of
them.
Next person:
sometimes practice not thinking but my brain usually gets in the way.
Next person:
oh, the usual intelligent things like..... are we gonna crash?
LOL and how
many of these idiots am I gonna have to push outta my way to get
outta here
when this damn thing lands. he he
Next person:
I just think about sleeping.
Next person:
When I fly if it is day I watch the ground and try to figure
out the location
on the landscape and see how far I can guess the location once
I could see
forest fires or grass fires accross new mexico and
follow the smoke up to the sky... I like to watch for other air-traffic
and
over the LA basin check our progress on ground based landmarks.
over Kansas
try to figure the same location and time of landing.. If
it is night I just listen to books on tape if I have them with
me...
Next person:
I'm usually thinking about waht i'd like to do to one or more
of the flight
attendants in the restroom.
Next person:
What's for dinner?
Next person:
crashing mostly
Next person:
Mostly I read technical magazine, updated resume, paying bills
& praying
Buddha for a safe arrival at destination.
Next person:
I think about what that flight attendant would look like if
she were wearing
that apron, but nothing else. That's about the limit of my intellectual
curiosity. Do you suppose DaVinci could have imagined it.
Next person:
I think about the clouds, the mountains and the ocean rarely
as analytical as
you.. sometimes, but not often.
Next person:
When I fly I hope that I don't throw up.
Next person:
I think about airplane crashing

Here is a picture of my parents 50th wedding anniversary then and now
