Mathematic poetry has been one of Maslanka's interests since the mid 1980's. Some of the poems on this page have been built on early poems from that period. This is another area where Kaz's Surrealist influences have showed their faces in his work. It may be interesting to note; the Juxtaposition of poetic phrases inside Math and Physics equations not only bridge the two aesthetics of Mathematics and Art but also create a phantom object inferred by the physics construct. The poems are generally laid out in a form showing the origin of the variables followed by the poem itself.
